Located right off the 210 freeway, just minutes from downtown Los Angeles, North Star Farms offers a wide variety of training from children's lessons on a school horse to correcting behavioral problems in your own horse. We have experience in disciplines including western pleasure, trail, hunter-jumper and eventing.
- LESSONS
North Star Farms offers lesson packages for every rider, on your horse or one of ours. We have private and group lessons, for riding, ground work, bombproofing, trail riding, showing and beyond. Whether you want to learn to jump, or just get on a horse for the first time, we are excited to help you make that dream a reality.
- TRAINING
We strive for having well rounded equines with the basis of fun - no matter what discipline or goal. Our trainer, Matthew Walsh, enjoys working with "problem" horses, and takes pride in seeing a horse progress and be the horse you are dreaming about. Either in the show ring or out on the trail -- with a young, green horse or your show horse that needs a "tune up," we work with you, the owner, to achieve your goal together.
